About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Stepdown Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12H Nights EOW Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: PCU/Tele experience, experience with post-Cath Lab patients Description: The position requires working in a stepdown unit. Weekend requirement includes every other weekend, if needed. Must be willing to float to Med Surg, if needed. Floating to ICU for PCU patient status is expected, if needed. The unit consists of 21 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS. Candidates must have experience in PCU/Tele and caring for post-Cath Lab patients. Cancellation policy allows for a 2-week notice with the ability to call off up to 48 hours prior to shifts. The charting system utilized is EPIC. This role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to various patient needs.
