About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 - Experience using Epic charting system - Travel experience required Description: Provides professional nursing care for patients. Under general direction, the Staff Nurse independently uses the nursing process to provide individualized care. Demonstrates age-specific competencies in patient care. Utilizes information from various sources to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care results. May supervise the work and functions of other nursing staff. Must possess effective communication skills. Must demonstrate compassion and efficiency in care delivery. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
