Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe delivery of care in the Emergency Department.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and delegate patient care priorities effectively.
• Conduct thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively to the team.
• Administer medications and monitor side effects and responses accurately.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with at least 2+ years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Endorsed certifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
• Proficient in the use of the MedHost Electronic Documentation System (EDIS).
• Preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
