Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school during the 2026-2027 academic year as a School Psychologist. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic blend of onsite and remote work, providing services across a primary, elementary, and high school. The ideal candidate will spend three days per week onsite, with the flexibility to work remotely for the other two days—though onsite presence is highly valued.
This role is essential in fostering a positive educational environment for a diverse student population, addressing a variety of learning, behavioral, and emotional needs across multiple school levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for school-based settings
- Previous experience working in elementary, middle, or high school environments is preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort adapting to a hybrid schedule; preference for candidates able to be onsite as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and provide comprehensive reports
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support individual student needs
- Participate in the development of IEPs and collaborate in special education placements
- Offer consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress, behavioral issues, and academic achievement
- Support crisis intervention, prevention, and response initiatives within the school community
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with district and legal requirements
