Project Manager

Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Project Manager in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Stamford, CT. Summary: This Project Manager focuses on the Cox integration technical and project management support needed to manage, develop and deploy all related Cox programs. This support includes any Day 0 requests, Spectrum Day and beyond. Team Overview: * Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation * Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures * Project Manager will develop project plan and drives project milestones * Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders * Provides day-to-day direction to project resources * As a Project Manager, you will ensure effective change management that occurs throughout the course of the project * Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets Typical Day: * 50% Project Mgt (Leading project meetings, ad hoc meetings/phone calls) * 40% Documentation and Reporting (Jira updates, meeting minutes, email messages follow-up on tasks/decisions via IM and email) * 10% Administration (Scheduling meetings, emails, BPMO calls & HR tasks)* 5-10 years of experience * Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word * Proficient with PC and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and software development lifecycle tools and processes (Agile or Scrum methodologies, Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Ownership, Jira, etc.) * Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills
