Job Summary

Experienced OR Circulator RN needed for a dynamic surgical services department. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment. Candidates should be comfortable managing surgical cases across multiple specialties while maintaining patient safety and sterile technique standards.

Responsibilities

• Function as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to procedures
• Monitor patient safety and maintain sterile field standards throughout surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and perioperative staff
• Perform patient assessments and provide perioperative documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Requirements

• Active RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Previous OR Circulator experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification preferred
• PANAC certification preferred
• AAOPU certification preferred for outpatient experience
