Position Summary We are seeking a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to deliver high-quality preventive dental care, build strong patient relationships, and support our clinical team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient education and positive chairside experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services: prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planing, coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Conduct periodontal assessments (charting, probing, bleeding indices) and document findings accurately.
• Take and evaluate dental radiographs per practice protocol and state regulations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on oral hygiene, prevention, and home care.
• Screen for oral disease and refer to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and update patient charts promptly.
• Assist with infection control, sterilization, and compliance with OSHA/HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Support practice growth through excellent patient rapport, recall management, and community outreach as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Tennessee (or eligible for Tennessee licensure).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification (BLS) required.
• Experience with digital X-rays and dental practice management software preferred (specify if your office uses a particular system).
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Commitment to high standards of infection control and documentation.
