Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio of 4:1. Weekend coverage required approximately half of the shifts per contract.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in an Intermediate Care/Step-Down unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• One pre-approved time off period available
• 36-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in skills including cardiac telemetry, care of ventilated patients, IV insulin protocols, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care, and titration of insulin drips
• Experience with MS/Tele, PCU/Step-Down/IMC patient populations
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
