Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Pittsfield, MA
Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours per Week
Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Travel Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Pittsfield, Massachusetts . The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve maximum independence and improve their quality of life. This is a full-time, day-shift travel position working 40 hours per week .

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and work-related skills

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, progress, and home programs

• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately and timely

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Previous clinical experience preferred (travel experience a plus)

• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills

• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations

Licensure & Certifications Required

• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain)

• NBCOT Certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)

• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – AHA preferred
