Cement Supervisor (CDL A) - Cheyenne, WY Cheyenne, WY, USA Job Description This role under the direction of the Station Manager involves assisting in day‑to‑day field primary and remedial cementing operations on location and at the shop. The supervisor must mentor current and aspiring supervisors and ensure safety‑sensitive compliance. Job Responsibilities Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at location. Execute successful cementing jobs per design/client specifications; understand rigging in/out procedures. Ensure efficient handling of day‑to‑day operations. Ensure critical tasks are completed on every cementing job, including measuring cement density, collecting samples, utilizing radios, blowing down all units and P‑tanks. Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments, including Sales and Dispatch. Work with station management to maintain operation and service standards and assist in leadership of the station. Evaluate bulk drivers and operators on weekly maintenance requirements and equipment rebuilding. Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation. Prepare end‑of‑well, end‑of‑month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and job tickets and reports. Verify load tickets and participate in incident reporting. Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service. Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relationships. Work with management to improve policy and procedures. Supervise a crew on any primary, remedial, and pump job. Demonstrate the ability to operate any four of the core pieces of equipment. Train and mentor current and aspiring Supervisor 1s. Complete Supervisor 1 and 2 sections of MAP (Magnum’s internal competency evaluation program). Participate in training and development activities. Other general duties as required. Qualifications – Required Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and operating pumpers. Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others. Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg, bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods. Able to work outdoors for extended periods and in all weather conditions. Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15‑day on a 6‑days‑off rotational schedule. Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibrations. Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of. Qualifications – Looking For Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and other required software. Experience in the completion of reports. Experience in dealing with customers and dispatch. Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications. Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety. Able to perform calculations required to execute a cement job. Able to perform all regular maintenance on equipment. Demonstrated leadership. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable. Flexible and able to adapt to change. Team player and customer-service focused. Demonstrated initiative and results‑oriented. Qualifications – Assets Possesses oilfield tickets. Experience operating cement and bulk equipment.
