REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER OF LABOR & DELIVERY - DAYS

Position Registered Nurse Manager, Labor & Delivery Location: Savannah, GA Shift: 8‑hour day shifts, full‑time Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the labor and delivery unit, ensuring high‑quality patient care and efficient workflow Manage and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Monitor and maintain unit budgets, ensuring resources are utilized effectively Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and best practices, implementing changes as needed to improve patient outcomes Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff members Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with other department managers to promote a positive and cohesive work environment Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master’s degree preferred Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing Previous management experience in a healthcare setting Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge of labor and delivery best practices and current trends in the field Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP certification preferred Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
