About the Position

Job Title: Critical Care Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid state or compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: o IV Start o Telemetry o Ventilator management experience o Proficiency with EPIC o Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night shifts. Nurses will float to various Critical Care units based on staffing and patient acuity. Units include Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, and others. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Candidates must have experience in managing ventilators and telemetry. Candidates should be proficient with EPIC charting system. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients. Interdisciplinary support is available in various capacities. Daily census exceeds 900, providing a dynamic work environment. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work weekends. References from previous supervisors or formal leadership must be provided. All candidates must comply with credentialing requirements.
