About This Role

Join our team of dedicated educators and caregivers at our Texas Rising Star facility, where you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of infants and preschool-aged children.

We're seeking a Full Time and Part Time Teacher's Aide to provide high-quality care and instruction in a supportive and energetic work environment.

  • Care for and instruct infants and preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth and development.
  • Please note that a required background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
  • The work shift is from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break and morning and afternoon breaks.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our young students.
  • Lift and transport children safely, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times.
  • Participate in breaks and activities with the children, creating a fun and nurturing environment that fosters their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
  • Be prepared to adapt to changing assignments and schedules, and receive direction and supervision as needed.

Requirements

  • Be able to clear a state background check
  • Lift and carry up to 35 lbs
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be reliable in attendance
  • Must clear state background check
  • Professional References
  • Be able to easily get up and down from the floor without assistance, and to walk, see, hear, speak with, and carry children to ensure children's safety

Nice To Haves

  • Possess Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification, which is highly valued but not required.
  • Hold a CDA, or Associate's Degree in early childhood education or a related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
