Job Description:
- Are you a passionate Certified Medical Assistant looking to make a difference in patient care?

- Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Obtaining and accurately recording patient vital signs, medical history, and current medications in EMR systems.
- Preparing examination rooms and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and sanitized.
- Administering medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers in accordance with established protocols.
- Performing routine laboratory tests and specimen collection, including blood draws and swabs, following proper procedures.
- Scheduling patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals while coordinating effectively with other healthcare facilities.
- Educating patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans as instructed by the provider.
- Handling patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing appropriate information or directing them to the correct healthcare personnel.
- Maintaining and updating patient records, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Collaborating with office staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and effective patient flow.
- Following infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Coordinating with insurance companies for processing claims and obtaining pre-authorizations for procedures.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry standards.
- Performing administrative duties such as billing, filing, and data entry as required by the office manager.
