Job Title - Structure Mechanic


Job Location - Piney Flats, TN 37686


Job Duration - 12+ Months Contract

Shift: 4x10 (06:00 AM - 04:30 PM)


Tools must be marked with personal Identification and shadowed.
• Flush Cut Dikes
• Screwdriver Set Standard and Philips Head
• Offset Screwdriver Set 90 degree
• Basic Wrench Set (Must have a ¼ inch wrench)
• Basic Socket Set (Must have a ¼ inch socket)
• Wire Strippers with Teflon Dies
• Daniels Crimpers with Positioners
• Allen Key Set Standard
• Ring Terminal Crimpers
• Hemostats
• Canon Plug Pliers
• Cable Cutters
• Molex Pin Crimpers
• Flashlight
• Electric drill or speed handle
• Multimeter

Position requirements:


- Must have approximately 4 years related to job duties


- FAA Airframe Certification preferred, but not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Install Client, Aeronautical Accessories, and other aftermarket kits.


- Perform major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure, including sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications.


- Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.


- Read, interpret, and perform work IAW manufacturers drawings and instructions consistently and accurately.


- Measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components.


- Document work performed consistently and accurately.


- Work on a team to ensure quality and timely completions of aircraft to meet schedule.


- Assist with line crew duties as needed.


- Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE.


- Demonstrate consistent ability to perform most tasks with little to no rework.


- Other duties as assigned


Physical requirements:


- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.


- Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands.


- Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.


- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.


- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.


- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.


- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.


- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
