Lead Manufacturing Engineer- Electronics - DefenseWe have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA!As our Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will perform various analyses, design and/or assembly related to manufacturing or industrial engineering projects. You will develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of electrical and mechanical parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies for defense applications. You will interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. You will estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will also maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.Location: Santa Clarita, CA-Onsite PositionWe Take Care of Our PeoplePaid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive CultureSalary Information: $108,900.00 - $145,200.00 per year plus bonusYour Challenge:Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct reducibility review of engineering drawings prior to release.Performs various operational or methods analyses related to labor standards and reviews product/project flow data, equipment, and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity, and reducing production unit cost.Assists in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements and performs as technical liaison with other engineering personnel such as program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.Create and update manufacturing standard procedures defining specific manufacturing processes.Establishes Manufacturing process flow.Create assembly work instructions and rework/repair instructions.Create technical training material and provide training to production and engineering staff.What You Bring:Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/electrical engineering or equivalentMinimum 8- years' relevant Engineering experienceAbility to read and understand drawings, electrical schematics, specification, and MS Office suite or products.Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assembly principles.Preferred is experience in electronics manufacturing.Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply to practical situations.Ability to solve problems and deal with variables in situations where limited standardization exists.Who We Are:Our ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceCurtiss-Wright is recognized around the world as one of the most innovative designers and manufacturers of rugged solutions that deliver optimal and reliable performance wherever they are deployed.
