The Role
- Provide thorough patient examinations, medical work-ups, and treatment plans for dogs and cats
- Perform diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery
- Interpret imaging and laboratory results using on-site diagnostic tools
- Prescribe medications and maintain controlled substance compliance
- Communicate clearly with clients to educate and guide care decisions
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold safety protocols
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on priorities, protocols, rounds, and quality initiatives
- Support team efficiency and contribute to a positive, learning-focused environment
- Part-time schedule with flexible hours; daytime practice open six days a week with Saturday appointments

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; excellent client communication
- Team-oriented mindset with commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
