A leading organization in the sports and entertainment industry is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its growing FP&A team. This role will play a key part in supporting financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making across multiple business units.

Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning efforts while partnering closely with both finance leadership and operational teams. This role will focus on data-driven insights, variance analysis, and financial modeling to help drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning
• Analyze actual results vs. budget/forecast; investigate variances and provide actionable insights
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership
• Partner with business leaders to align financial plans with operational goals
• Support full P&L analysis , including revenue and expense drivers
• Work with large datasets from accounting and operational systems to derive key insights and KPIs
• Assist in preparing presentations for executive leadership, including board-level and strategic materials
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and reporting automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Strong understanding of full P&L and budgeting/forecasting processes
• Understanding of  revenue recognition and deferred revenue concepts
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
• Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Experience building executive-level presentations and data visualizations
• Experience in Entertainment, Hospitality, Food/Beverage highly preferred
