CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans and general radiology exams, including X-rays, and assisting in scheduling mobile imaging units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and general radiology examinations.
• Schedule mobile imaging services for MRI, Ultrasounds, and Dexascans.
• Conduct EKGs, with training available for those without experience.
• Ensure high-quality imaging according to departmental protocols.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Valid state license in North Dakota (no CT certification required for ND).
• Experience in performing CT scans and general radiology exams is preferred.
• IV capability is preferred.

The Radiology department is equipped with 1 CT scanner, 1 direct radiography (DR) mobile unit, and 1 DR room, utilizing Toshiba, Carestream, and Siemens equipment, respectively. The department operates using Epic for electronic medical records (EMR) and Intellispace for the Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS).

Work Schedule

The position typically requires Monday through Friday shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a commitment to being on call for two nights a week and every other weekend. Weekend calls include Friday night availability, with a response time requirement of 20 minutes.

Dress Code

Preferred attire includes scrubs or casual wear (jeans are not permitted). Scrubs may be provided by the department.

Orientation

A department-specific orientation will be provided to ensure seamless integration into the team.
