Salary: $48,000–$52,000 annually

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Standard Business Hours

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an Accounting Specialist with at least 1–3 years of experience to join a collaborative, small-office team where you can make an impact across multiple areas of accounting and operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable who wants to build on their experience, gain exposure to month-end close and general ledger activities, and develop toward a future Staff Accountant-level role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, exception monitoring, and reviewing invoices against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.

• Support Accounts Receivable functions, including customer billing, cash applications, and account follow-up.
\n
• Assist with payroll processing by reviewing employee hours and entering payroll information accurately.
\n
• Contribute to month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, general ledger support, and other routine accounting functions.
\n
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and address AP/AR questions.
\n

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 1–3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with hands-on exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
\n
• Experience using an ERP or accounting system; familiarity with cloud-based platforms or automated workflows is preferred.
\n
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and basic data analysis.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
\n
