Physical Therapist - PT Full Time Opportunity

Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits package included. Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in Louisiana. Perform direct patient care including evaluation, plan of care, treatment, & all required paperwork. Work with patients in a one-on-one environment, alongside the director of therapy. Patient care to be provided to patients in an acute care setting, critical access hospital & outpatient. Assure a safe & directed continuum of care for patient's post-discharge.

Job Description:

• Works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care.
• Serve as advocates and promoters of health, wellness, and fitness to all.
• Offers the candidate an opportunity to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
• Services are provided to patients with a broad range of diagnoses including orthopedic injuries/surgeries, neurologic conditions/injuries, cardiac conditions, cancer, post-surgical and general debility.
• New graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

Other Qualifications:

• Demonstrates skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving.
• Active participation within professional organization.
• The candidate must be willing to train and work in various practice areas.
