Assistant Electronics Technician

We are hiring Assistant Electronics Technicians for our client. The individuals hired for this job will be responsible for monitoring test procedures and equipment. This is an entry level role and our client will be doing training for new team members hired. Shift hours: 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday -Friday Duties and Responsibilities Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment. Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment. Solder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts, by using both surface mount and thru-hole methods. Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices. Comply with quality performance standards. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience

MUSTHAVESOLDERINGSKILLS

Skilled in the operation of test equipment. Capable of utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, and soldering irons. Ability to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine). Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques. Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment. Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units. Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous technical experience. Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with schematics. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Time-management skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse environment. The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary. The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
