Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler

Job Summary:

As a Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination of our staffing needs, ensuring that our patients receive the exceptional care they deserve.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staffing schedules for all departments, ensuring optimal coverage and efficient allocation of resources

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing schedules, taking into account patient census, staff availability, and departmental needs

• Collaborate with department managers, nurses, and other staff members to identify and address staffing needs and concerns

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and respect

• Maintain confidential records and perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and reporting

• Develop and implement effective solutions to staffing challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes and protocols

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma or degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred

• 0-2 years of experience in healthcare staffing or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

• Proficiency in electronic medical records and scheduling software

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
