The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic leadership of procurement and supply chain functions, ensuring that global strategies align with the organization's goals. This role requires a leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, particularly with R&D and operations, to foster collaboration and innovation. The SVP will also be accountable for global procurement and supply chain strategies, goal setting, and execution to maximize value and drive business outcomes. Applicants for the SVP position should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management, or a related field, with a Master's or MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement and supply chain, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within a complex global manufacturing environment, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in complex manufacturing, particularly in automotive, mobility, aerospace, or defense, and possess excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen. Strong negotiation skills, deep financial acumen, and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM are essential. The role demands an outstanding leader with a proven track record in building high-performing teams, driving change management, and the ability to inspire and unify teams in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
