Experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Bobcat of Tracy is a full-service Bobcat Dealership. We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. KC Bobcat offers parts as well as both mobile and shop service, and a full line of concrete supplies. Bobcat of Tracy is looking to add an Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions. Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team. Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs. Heavy equipment and/or agricultural experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
