Kitchen Sales and Design Specialist

Job description:We are a growing kitchen and bath cabinetry company seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer for our Knoxville showroom.This role is responsible for both design and closing sales for all showroom customers and incoming leads.Success in this role comes from the ability to:Design functional kitchen and bath layoutsGuide customers through product selectionClose sales and manage follow-upConvert incoming leads into completed projectsRESPONSIBILITIESMeet with showroom customers (limited walk-ins + scheduled appointments)Design kitchen and bath layouts using design softwareCreate accurate quotes and proposalsClose sales from showroom traffic and incoming leadsFollow up on all active quotes and opportunitiesWork incoming leads from our business development teamMaintain organized pipeline of active opportunitiesEnsure timely response to all customer inquiries and leadsREQUIREMENTSExperience in kitchen/bath design, cabinetry, or interior design preferredStrong ability to close sales (not just present designs)Comfortable working in a low-traffic showroom environmentSelf-motivated with strong follow-up disciplineAbility to manage multiple active customer opportunitiesBasic computer skills (design software experience a plus)COMPENSATIONBase hourly pay: $20/hourPerformance incentives available (including commission and bonuses tied to results)WHAT WE OFFEREstablished showroom with consistent incoming opportunitiesBusiness development team generating qualified leadsOperational support handling ordering and installationClear performance-based growth and earning potentialOpportunity to directly impact income through resultsIDEAL CANDIDATEWe are looking for someone who:Is confident both designing and closing salesEnjoys working directly with customersCan stay productive without constant walk-in trafficIs disciplined in follow-up and pipeline managementWants to be rewarded for performance, not just hours workedIMPORTANT NOTEThis is a design and closing role, not a purely creative design position.
