Job Summary
The Mentor Coach serves as a facilitator of professional growth and continuous learning through an interactive process of observation, discussion, feedback, and reflection. In this role, the Mentor Coach supports individuals in identifying and achieving professional goals by fostering self-awareness, skill development, and effective practice. Through collaborative coaching relationships, the Mentor Coach promotes employees' ability to grow, improve performance, and progress toward established individual and organizational objectives. Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
1-3 years experience as a mentor/coach providing adult education in early childhood education or child development topics.
5-7 years experience as a lead teacher in a licensed child development program with children ages 0-5.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred Education and Experience Preferred Education and Experience
To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 117.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position. - Supporting employees in setting, monitoring, and achieving individual and program-specific SMART goals.
- Maintaining training records, tracking participation, and ensuring compliance with professional development requirements.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of coaching and training programs through data collection, feedback, and performance measures.
- Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to align professional learning initiatives with organizational goals.
- Promoting a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence across the organization.
Must be able to:
- Sit, stand, lift (up to 40 pounds), stoop, squat, climb, run, bend, push/pull, hold, reach, twist, turn, walk, stretch, get up/down from the floor
