Four maternity leave assignments will be opening soon, each providing a chance to make a difference in elementary and middle school settings. Starting dates range from early January to mid-March 2027 and continue through the end of the year. This role best suits SLPAs already in the Houston area who are ready for immediate, hands-on impact—fluent commutes and reliable transportation are essential, as location confirmation is required prior to submission.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLPA license in hand (supervision for hours not provided)
• Previous experience working in school settings as an SLPA, with a strong understanding of IEPs and student documentation
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to specified campuses within a 30-mile radius
• On-site availability only; teletherapy is not offered for these assignments
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to student success

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct speech and language services under SLP supervision
• Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain accurate service notes and support student progress documentation
• Collaborate with educators and clinical staff to optimize learning outcomes
• Assist with screenings and parent communication as needed
