Title : Postdoctoral Fellow - Ye Lab Appointment Status : Non-Tenure Track Department : IU Bloomington Chemistry Location : Bloomington Position Summary The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts + Sciences at Indiana University has a well‑rounded research community with cutting‑edge expertise in a wide variety of modern disciplines including analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, and biochemistry. A postdoc position is available for the design, synthesis, and electron‑microscopy characterization of nanomaterials for applications in heterogenous catalysis and plasmonics. In this federally funded project, the postdoc will collaborate with scientists at other US institutions and National Laboratories to pursue cutting‑edge scientific research. The incumbent will have the opportunity to participate in professional development activities according to their goals, including grant writing, seminars, and conference attendance. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or related field by the time of starting this position. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in nanocrystal synthesis and characterization, electrochemistry, catalysis, or analytical or in‑situ electron microscopy. Creative, analytical approach to problem solving. Ability to work independently. Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaborations.
