Role Description We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, career advancement opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in underserved Western New York communities. Preference will be given to local applicants able to provide in-person services, though fully remote opportunities are available for the right candidate. As a BCBA at Lake Effect ABA, you will: Develop and maintain Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and individualized Treatment Plans. Implement data-driven, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique strengths and goals. Supervise and mentor Behavior Therapists/RBTs, providing direct feedback, coaching, and clinical oversight. Deliver parent and caregiver training, empowering families to support progress beyond sessions. Coordinate care with other professionals to ensure a consistent, team-based approach. Monitor client progress, analyze data, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Participate in client intakes, ensuring a complete understanding of each individual’s needs and history. Maintain clear, timely documentation aligned with ethical and clinical standards. Stay current in ABA best practices, contributing to continuous quality improvement and innovation in care. Qualifications New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Active NYS Medicaid credentialing and active MMIS ID required. Afternoon availability (at least 3–4 days per week, 2–6 PM EST). Experience working with children diagnosed with autism or developmental disabilities. In-home ABA service experience preferred. Ability to collaborate effectively via remote platforms when needed. Strong skills in communication, documentation, and data-based decision making. Deep understanding of behavioral principles, parent education, and applied interventions. Why Join Lake Effect ABA?
