Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a per diem capacity, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. Must be prepared to work on the strike date and complete onboarding with minimal compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care according to established telemetry nursing standards.
• Verify active nursing licenses and certifications prior to shift.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Provide proof or attestation of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or declinations.
• Have recent knowledge of EPIC system operations.
• Demonstrate experience in telemetry nursing or related field.
