Contract (20 Weeks) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Observation unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation using EPIC
• Rotate every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Work holidays as they fall per the unit schedule
• Float within the specialty and to lower acuity areas as needed; travelers are first to float
• Be available for on-call placement in lieu of call-off situations (pre-scheduled on-call is not required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification — The Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (permanent address required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Prior experience in an observation or telemetry setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
