Aulani Dining Experience PositionResponsible for creating an exceptional Aulani dining experience. Assist Severs as necessary to provide exceptional guest service while bringing the story of Aulani to life in their interactions. May be involved with role playing or themed restaurants. May be responsible for greeting guests, for running food & drink orders and delivering items to guests in a timely manner. May assist server with bussing and anticipating other guests needs.Responsibilities:Responsible for delivering orders to the guest's table or staging area in the dining room/lounge areaResponsible for welcoming and interacting with guests in a positive and friendly mannerMay deliver orders to the guests in the pool service areaDelivers orders using designated pivot pointsChecks receipts and assembles the order for the guestKnowledge and understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation including temperature requirementsHas good judgment of food quality and production, understands the impact of spoilageEnsures that the food presentation is fresh and up to quality standardsReplenishes food and other serving items on the serving line as necessaryAnticipate guests needs and assists with directions, event schedules, and other information or assistance as neededMay pre-bus tables or seat guestsMay do "side work" pertaining to their craft including but not limited to cleaning work areas, stocking area, polishing silverware, fold/roll napkinsReplenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining roomResponsible for bussing tables, disposing of trash, maintaining the cleanliness of all restaurant areas, transporting dishes and silverware to the dish room, assembling guest food orders and/or delivering them to the dining roomBasic Qualifications:Must meet state requirements to obtain Hawaii Liquor Commission cardMust be at least 18 years of ageExcellent hospitality skillsAbility to multi task and work in a very fast paced environmentSpeed, accuracy and efficiency are required and ability to work well under pressureDemonstrated ability to own and resolve guest situationsSelf-directed (can complete tasks with minimal supervision)Willing to follow instructions & take directionFlexible/adaptableSupportive of other cast working on your teamCan complete repetitious tasks while maintaining qualityStrong verbal communication skillsWilling to work outdoors even in inclement weatherMust be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special eventsFrequent bending, twisting and kneelingFrequent lifting and balancing of bus trays between 45-75 lbsConstant use of handsFrequent pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs, occasionally up to 150 lbsMay work indoors or outdoorsConstant walking/standingConstantly push/pull up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbsExposure to chemicals (cleaning supplies).
