Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technician Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: CABG on and off pump experience Valves experience Ablations experience Assistance with placement of lines Description: Join a dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment. The unit operates as a Level II Trauma Center with a focus on cardiovascular surgery. There are two beds available on the unit with a patient ratio of 1:1. The surgical team consists of flexible staff who communicate openly and work together efficiently. Standard CVOR equipment is utilized, and experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with typical procedures such as CABG, VATS, ION, valves, and ablations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in setting up rapid infusers and cell savers. The team values flexible personalities who can adapt to changing situations. Flexible scheduling options are available, and the facility encourages work-life balance. Healthcare professionals are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff.
