We are looking for a CNA to be our Transportation Director

POSITION SUMMARY:   

An employee in this position serves as a key point of contact for residents, families and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for residents by addressing their appointment needs, coordinating services and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for them.   

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• -Oversee the transporting residents safely to and from outside appointments. 

• -Ensure Transportation Assistants are assisting residents when boarding and

• disembarking the vehicle. 

• -Schedule follow-up appointments while at the physician's office. 

• -Answer phone calls from families/make phone calls to families regarding

• resident appointments. 

• -Contact physician offices when necessary. 

• -Print paperwork for resident appointments (face sheet, med list, etc) 

• -Administrative work including writing appointments in book and complete

• electronic schedule. 

• -Hand out appointment slips and run the paper schedule for the next day. 

• -Assist with ancillary providers in the facility. 

• -Keeps detailed log of maintenance work performed on transport vehicles. 

• -Immediately reports any vehicle problem to maintenance and or administrator. 

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:   

*Must have current, valid PA driver's license. 

*Must have current, valid CNA certification.
