Marketing Intern - Northwest/GPSU

GuidePoint Security is looking to hire a Marketing Intern to support our Northwest Region. The Marketing Intern will learn and work with our major marketing technologies like SalesForce and Marketo. The ideal candidate will have a curious mind, willingness to learn and excellent attention to detail. Must reside within 20-25 miles from Portland, OR – preferred. Secondary – Boise, ID or Bay Area (CA) to be considered for this role. Roles and Responsibilities Support the Northwest Marketing Team with day-to-day functions and provide administrative support as needed. Familiarize and begin to develop skills with the following platforms: Salesforce, Marketo, Monday.com, and Canva. Support the maintenance of registration lists, event calendars and provide necessary updates to the regional team. Assist with organizing and executing regional events. Specific activities that our intern will assist with: Submitting campaign buildout tickets Creating and tracking sponsorship agreements Help with promotional assets Qualifications Must reside within 20-25 miles from Portland, OR – preferred. Secondary – Boise, ID or Bay Area (CA). Must be eligible for full-time hire in early 2027. Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment. Must have strong attention to detail. Experience with CRM databases and Marketing Automation Platforms such as SalesForce and Marketo, preferred. Works well with a team. Organized and self-motivated. A creative thinker who isn’t afraid to share new ideas and can bring fresh perspectives to event marketing, social media, and branded experiences. Internship Details and Expectations This is a part-time, hybrid paid internship ($20hr) that is offered as part of a GPSU cohort running from August 31 – November 20, 2026 . The intern is expected to: Travel up to 25% for local events within the Northwest Region (some events may be hosted in the evening or require weekend travel). Support 25-29hrs/wk, M-F.
