Responsibilities
- Under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists, treat patients through exercise, gait and balance training, massage, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Record patients’ progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust actions as directed, and communicate progress to the PT.
- Maintain safety and infection control in therapy spaces and ensure equipment is prepared and functional for sessions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support the patient’s rehabilitation goals and discharge planning.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families about therapy plans, expectations, and home exercise programs.

Requirements
- Active Texas or compact PTA license (as required)
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience
- Ability to work in a long-term care/nursing home setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment in Llano, TX
- Current or eligible to obtain licensure documentation as part of the submission process
