Technical Maintenance Technician

Real Property Management has the perfect position for you as a Technical Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for providing a great resident experience, maintaining the property to look good and function well. This could include pools, landscaping, exercise equipment, appliances, heating and cooling systems, garage doors, and lighting (to name a few). Additionally, individual apartments will need repairs, painting, and cleaning between tenants and during residency. You will be responsible for making the property shine.

Your responsibilities as a technical maintenance technician:

• Property maintenance - You will provide maintenance work that could include: general maintenance, light electricity, plumbing, carpentry and painting, light landscaping, installation of light appliances/maintenance, trash/removal of large items, pool maintenance, and much more.
• Customer service - As a member of the frontline service team, we want you to be proud of your appearance and how you interact with residents. The smile is part of the uniform.
• What can be improved? - When you visit a property for a work order, you will have the opportunity to see other elements that can be improved. This helps our residents love where they live and provides a vision in property maintenance that helps our owners improve the property.

• You are patient with customers and team members, and are willing to take your time to explain things in terms they can understand.
• You are punctual and honest.
• Familiarity with maintenance and/or trade work (plumbing, electricity, carpentry, etc) is a plus!

Requirements for the maintenance coordinator position:

• Experience in maintenance and/or a trade (plumbing, electricity, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc).
• Valid driver's license.
• Digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone.

The remuneration for the Technical Maintenance Technician position is a base salary of $XX.XX/hour [plus an incentive structure based on billable hours].
