Laboratory Clinical Lab Scientist

Join the laboratory team at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, NM, supporting high-complexity CLIA testing for the Navajo Area Indian Health Service. This is a rare opportunity to bring your generalist lab skills to an underserved community in one of the most scenic and culturally rich regions in the Southwest — the Four Corners, minutes from Navajo Nation land and within driving distance of Mesa Verde, Chaco Canyon, and Durango, CO.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related science
Minimum 12 months of clinical laboratory generalist experience in a high-complexity CLIA setting
Active certification: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
Current BLS certification
Ability to pass federal background investigation (Level I/II, HSPD-12/FIPS 201) and immunization/health screening
Valid driver's license (if required for site access)
