They will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, policies, and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and processesConduct audits and inspections of transportation and logistics operations to identify quality issuesCreate corrective action plans and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvementsDevelop and maintain metrics to track quality performanceAnalyze data and identify trends to improve quality performanceCollaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure complianceProvide training and support to employees on quality management systems and processesConduct investigations and root cause analyses of quality issuesEnsure that all regulatory and legal requirements related to quality are metEducational background / Work experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry.Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of quality management systems and processesAbility to conduct audits and inspectionsExperience in developing and implementing corrective action plansAnalytical skills to identify trends and improve quality performanceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes:Supervisory Responsibilities (if any): May be responsible for supervising quality assurance technicians.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldProfessional certification in quality management, such as Six Sigma or Lean Six SigmaLanguage skills: Fluent in English (oral and written)Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality management software is preferred.At Will Employment: DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as "at will" employees.Expected Base Pay Range: $62,400 - $78,000 annuallyDSV is an equal employment opportunity employer.
