Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-time

This position is responsible for providing licensed nursing services to residents, following the guidelines provided by Senior Lifestyle Corporation.Job responsibilities include:Medication administration for residents in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.Admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.Completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans.Clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the direction of the director.Providing general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.Notifying physicians and/or family members of any change in resident's health and providing proper documentation.Responding quickly to all emergencies.Maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members.Providing educational meetings for residents and staff.Understanding roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.Maintaining confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.Being responsible for discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed.Qualifications:Level of Formal Education: Training from an accredited licenses or vocational nursing programArea of Study: General nursingYears of Experience: 1+ yearsType of Experience: Senior care or related fieldSpecial Certifications: Must have a Licensed Practical Nurse's License current in the state in which they are practicing.
