Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Labor & Delivery RN to join our team. The role involves caring for obstetric patients in a patient-centered care model, making clinical assessments, and managing treatment autonomously. Responsibilities Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues. Evaluate the obstetrical patient for any situation that may compromise the well-being of mother and fetus. Participate in routine deliveries as well as planned or emergent cesarean sections. Act as an advocate for patient safety. Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment. Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support to patients and families throughout their stay. Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida; multistate licensure or ability to obtain licensure prior to start required. 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery. BSN preferred. Neonatology Resuscitation Credential within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification within 60 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification prior to employment start date.
