Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Triage and assess emergency patients, including neonates to geriatrics
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation and procedural sedation
• Manage and care for patients requiring restraints and mass transfusion of blood products
• Provide care for patients experiencing stroke, meeting neuro alert criteria
• Participate in trauma activations and cardiac STEMI care

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Active RN license
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
