Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Level 2 trauma center setting.
• Utilize AIDET principles to enhance patient experience.
• Participate in emergency care procedures and triage responsibilities.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech documentation system.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and tech staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency/Trauma Nurse in a Level 2 trauma center.
• Current Kansas RN license.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, ENPC (or PALS), TNCC.
• Advanced skills in trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, and sepsis management.
• Preferred certifications: CEN or TCRN.
