We Are Hiring Location: Austin, TX Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center Department/Specialty: Transport Schedule: Nights, Rotating | Full-time What You Will Do Provide critical care on the move: Assess, stabilize, and treat patients using advanced interventions across ground, helicopter, and fixed‑wing transports. Be the ultimate team player: Partner closely with medical crews to ensure seamless, safe patient hand‑offs while keeping anxious families informed and reassured. Prioritize safety and readiness: Keep clinical documentation accurate and specialized transport gear mission‑ready to protect both your patients and your team. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Basic Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Neonatal Resuscitation certification. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. 3 years minimum (no less than 4000 hours) ED or ICU experience; required for CAMTS accreditation.
