CDL Driver II

Job Overview Flexible work option: hybrid – can work remotely part of the week. Travel required: 100% of the time. Compensation: hourly base pay ranging from $16.59 to $24.86. Additional compensation may include commission and incentive programs. Responsibilities Shuttle commercial vehicles to be repaired or post repairs between our maintenance shop and customers in the surrounding area – ensure vehicles are home each evening. Pick up and deliver parts from local parts stores or distribution centers back to our maintenance shop. Provide excellent customer service by exceeding customers’ expectations. Contribute to the achievement of Maintenance Shop department goals and objectives. Make parts runs to stores and deliver to shops and mobile technicians. Assist in maintaining parts shelves for technicians. Help keep the shop clean. Pick up customer trailers with our tractor and deliver to shop or other yards. Pick up and deliver customer trucks. Maintain a safe and compliant working environment. Attend management meetings when requested. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business requirements. Requirements High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience. If candidate holds a degree or higher in a related discipline or has 5 years of related experience, that is acceptable. Valid state‑of‑residence CDL‑A driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File. 1 to 3 years of CDL driving experience. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment. Good reading and navigation skills using maps, routes, and GPS systems. Demonstrated exceptional customer service experience in internal or external settings. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate at all levels of the organization. Dependable, organized, and committed with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Resourceful, motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a local geography familiar environment.
