PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring for Journeyman Electricians for construction projects in Phoenix Metro Area/East Valley. In this Journeyman Electrician role, you’ll earn $30-$35 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. - Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Maintaining tools, vehicles, and equipment and keeping parts and supplies in order
- Performing duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, and other electrical components.
- Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams.
- Install electrical systems according to industry standards and regulations.
5+ Years Prior Commercial Electrical Experience required
Must have Tools of the Trade
Ability to efficiently bend pipe
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
