This position supports manufacturing of custom labeling equipment in our New Freedom, PA plant.Essential Job FunctionsBuild to engineering specificationsWork on pressure sensitive labeling equipment to assemble, test and troubleshoot.Effectively interact with engineers to help determine if an assembly change is needed to achieve optimum machine performance.RequirementsAbility to read machine drawings/ documentation to assemble machinesAbility to use basic hand toolsAbility to use basic power toolsAbility to work independentlyAdherence to all safety guidelines as outlined in the safety manualOwn toolsOther Skills/Abilities which will ensure successExcellent interpersonal skillsMachine shop knowledge a plusFork lift truck knowledge & certification a plusMachine shop background a plusPhysical requirements of positionCapable of lifting 40 - 50 pounds, occasionallyCapable of prolonged standingExposure to Hazardous MaterialsFollowing all federal, state, local and IDT specific safety guidelines as prescribed in the employee handbook and subsequent company safety training. Some minor exposure to hazardous materials such as epoxies, cleaners, etc. may be required as part of this job.
