Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,045 per week

Job Overview ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is hiring a travel nurse RN for the CVICU in Stuart, Florida. The position starts on 01 June 2026 for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week, working 12‑hour overnight shifts. Candidates must be able to begin within 5 weeks. Responsibilities Work 12‑hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for three 12‑hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shift patterns. Provide bedside care in the CVICU, managing ventilators and post‑open heart activities. Float to all three local hospitals: Martin North, Martin South, and Martin Tradition. Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, central lines, continuous IV sedation, cardiac and vasoactive drug infusions, ventilator settings, and arterial blood gas results. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patients with multisystem organ failure and post‑heart surgery recovery. Follow isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years of recent open‑heart or CVICU experience required. Must hold BLS, ACLS certifications and obtain NIHSS prior to start. Experience with Swans, IABP, Impella, and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. Proficiency with EPIC charting system required. Must pass a negative nicotine drug screen (10‑panel + cotinine). White scrubs mandatory; EKG and pharmacy testing required during orientation. First‑time travelers acceptable; all time‑off requests must be submitted at application. Compensation & Benefits Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week. A tax‑free stipend amount will be determined. A $750 referral bonus is available.
