Temple Health
MRI TechnologistPerforms MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredNon Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program RequiredExperience1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required1 year experience as a MRI Technologist PreferredLicensesReg Technologist (R) RequiredBasic Life Support PreferredReg Technologist (R) (MR) Preferred
